This reminds me of a story I started writing about a girl growing up in California; Aggie. If you're interested, the first 2 parts of the story are on my writing blog (which I have been neglecting). http://underscrutiny.blogspot.com/ .
I took this in a museum in a small town in the gold country called La Grange.
I don't know why, exactly, but this immediately made me think of the film Indochine (Catherine Deneuve). It's just lovely, and I think it would really work well with a sepia treatment, or a vintage look.
Your work has always to me told a story and I always feel like I am a character in the story book - that's quite a gift to hold as a visual communicator.
